I guess life is just busy, and I haven't had much time to sit down and ponder about what to write about. We just celebrated the last of the July birthdays at our house, and I swear that next year I am going to put up the Christmas tree and decorate it in birthday themed items and put all of their presents under it. July is just party month around here. It almost makes me want to have a few more kids in July just for the pure humor of the whole situation. (Hayden turned 8, Logen turned 6, and Reagan is now 2)
Besides that there really isn't anything overly exciting around here. We have been having a blast enjoying the summer with the kids....lots of Popsicles, swimming, drive-in movies, camping, campfires, and trips to the beach.
We are getting ready to get the back-to-school shopping done and get the kids registered for school. They have finally figured out that I am actually serious, and a few of them aren't very happy about it. I have faith that they will adjust well, and I will be there to support them along the way. I'm looking forward to just enjoying the company of the little one without so many distractions.....in case you don't know Reagan she has the most amazing personality. She is one funny little kid.
Steven is finishing up auto-cad classes at the college, and adding that to his long list of valuable skills. No....there isn't anything he CAN'T do. He amazes me all the time.
Oh, and we have new neighbors that moved in across the street. The kids prayed and prayed that someone with kids would buy that house. It could not have worked out more perfectly. They have a daughter that is Lauren's age and a son that is Corben's age. They have really enjoyed playing together. They spend their days wandering between our house and theirs. The new kids are really sweet and well mannered, and they all get along well. The great thing is that when they all head out I can actually get the house cleaned up!
I promise to update with some pictures soon!
