Corben's State Match Award

Over the weekend we traveled to Fredericksburg, Texas for Corben to compete in the state 4-H BB gun shooting match.

We had a great time!

Corben has been shooting since November. All of the competitors must complete a 50 question test about shooting safety and competition rules. Then they each shoot 10 shots from 4 different positions. (prone, standing, sitting, and kneeling)

Corben won 3rd place in his age group for shooting from the standing position, and earned a medal. He placed 5th overall in his age group. He had a great time. He wore that medal for 2 days!

We are looking forward to the next competition....it sure was a lot of fun.
