So Proud Of My Husband

This weekend is our biannual general conference where the prophet of the Lord and our other church leaders speak to us and give us counsel for our time. Over 13 million church members tune in to radio broadcasts and television broadcasts to listen to 8 hours of teachings. Many church members watch or listen from the comfort of their homes like we do......but many more gather in their local meeting house to watch the broadcast.

Today our fellow church members in Galveston will be able to watch the conference in their meeting house despite the fact that it still does not have power. My husband accompanied another wonderful ward member to Galveston in the early morning hours today in order to connect a huge generator and set up all of their audio visual equipment. Hopefully they are comfortably watching General Conference and having their spiritual cups filledas we are.

I am proud of my husband because he is so selfless. He is tired, yet he always seems to have so much energy...especially energy to always do what is right. He has worked tirelessly for the last 2 weeks helping many people that he didn't even know. He is an example to me. I am a better person because of what he inspires me to do. My children are blessed to call him "Daddy". I am blessed to call him my eternal companion.
